Casting: We are often asked about casting for our plays. We have a definite policy to cast the best person for the job, irrespective of 'type', look or other barriers found in the casting process. We do not audition but invite people to workshop with us as this gives a fairer indication of the actor's potential and a better view of what it is like to work with us for the actor themselves. Please express your interest to work with us via email on the contact us page. Only current Equity members will be considered for company inclusion.

Actor Manager

Artistic Associates

Nicholas Shelton - Nick is one of the founder members of DT and so it only seems right that he is an Artistic Associate for the up coming schedule of work. His play, 'Deathline' was a mere germ of an idea but after workshopping and a scratch performance, it has now been worked into a fully realised piece ready for performance. Nick has many other ideas for DT in the miasma of his mind, it's just a matter of us being brave enough to venture in there and get them out!

Geoff White - Geoff has been chosen as an Artistic Associate and collaborator for the new season in 2008, following his work with us from the very outset. He is a founding member of DT and a constant contributor of ideas and support ranging from his input as an actor to playwright. His favourite word is 'thistle'.

Samantha Parry - Sam's unswerving support has earned her the right to exercise her own artistic leanings and create a fight orientated piece for DT, her experience in stage combat and choreographic skills makes her an ideal choice for company Fight Captain. She too is a founding member of the company and provided support throughout the inception of our debut pieces. Sam Parry is an excellent combatant and never dies!

Designer
Abi Gale - Abi graduated from the Wimbledon School of Art with a BA (Hons) in Theatre Design. She has worked extensively in theatre, film and television designing sets and costumes. More recently she has been styling fashion and art photoshoots and has collaborated with photographer, Tamar Nussbacher. Abi is the resident company designer for DT and an integral member of the creative process. She lives in Brockley and makes a wicked chicken dinner.

Stage Manager
Michelle Cox - Michelle has a background in fine art and sculpture, she went to Camberwell and then onto a varied career in theatre and video production. She has a vast experience in the set and costume making side of theatre and is Stage Manager for the company. She lives in south London with her 14 year old son, Ben, who was chosen by the English National Ballet to perform in last year's 'The Nutcracker', well done, Ben!

Technical Consultant
Adam Burns - Adam has worked in professional theatre for 15 years and cites his leftish beliefs as the reason he endures such poverty when he’d be perfectly capable of earning a real wage! Formerly production and technical manager for companies such as The King’s Head, Islington, BADA  and Theatre Peckham, Adam works as a technical consultant to several venues and companies and specialises in site specific work. He lives with wife Cat and teething one year old son, Liam, in Stepney.

Administration
Liz Webster - Alongside being a founder member of DTs ensemble, Liz is the company administrator and press contact. All miscellaneous enquiries can be directed to her and she will facilitate a comprehensive response as expediently as possible. Liz invented the 'Microtto' - a kind of instant microwaved risotto.
