Script reading

We offer a script reading service, we do not charge for this and offer comprehensive feedback on a piece of new writing and have an average turnaround of two weeks. Please email your play with a covering note to mail@darktheatre.org. Please supply it in standard MS Word format as an attachment.

Scratch Performances

We also offer a performance package to get your play up on its feet and aired in public. We can undertake a script in hand scratch performance for one night at a prominent Fringe venue and arrange marketing and publicity to promote your work. It is on a co-production basis and requires a small financial input from you but will generate feedback from the audience and potentially lead onto a full production. Please enquire about this service via email to sam@darktheatre.org attaching the proposed script and your contact details.

Training and Role Play

Dramatic role play is a very effective training tool and is used widely in many fields now as a means to implement methods of working and approaches to various tasks in the workplace. We will schedule an initial meeting to discuss your training needs and then tailor a script to your exact requirements, after this is approved we set up the dates and execute the workshop after which we provide relevant feedback. Other workshops are also available, confidence boosters, vocal techniques and public speaking to name but a few, fees and prices vary according to timescale and number of participants, also reduced rates are available to the non profit sector organisations.
